MEFA Group starts Rehabilitation of Solid Waste Dumpsite of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality
Rapid population growth and urbanization in developing countries have led to the generation of enormous quantities of municipal solid wastes (MSW) and consequential environmental degradation. Safe and reliable disposal of municipal solid wastes and residues is an important component of integrated waste management. Open dumping of MSW, which is practiced by about three-fourths of the countries and territories in the world is a primitive stage of waste disposal.
